  • Setting up software instruments in the Channel Strip, using I/O

  • Setting up for MIDI recording (Tempo, Metronome, etc)
  • Setting the Cycle Region

  • Copying, Repeating and Looping regions (using region parameter and Loop Tool)
  • The Catch Function and Caps Lock Keyboard

  • Basic Quantizing

  • Using the Automation Select and Curve Tools
  • The Environment - activating Logic’s sequencer
  • Adding standard and multi instruments in the Environment
  • Configuring Audio Hardware and Drivers, and Apple’s Audio MIDI Setup
  • Bouncing the track to an audio file.
As with all courses, different students will learn at different speeds. Anything which is left uncovered at the end of a session can be carried over to the next. Similarly, if planned topics are covered ahead of schedule, others may be brought forward and, if need be, further topics can be covered during the later sessions.
